Resource Library Privacy
Information used to manage book access.
The portal stores account details, selected books, purchase platform and date, optional ISBN, a limited order-reference fingerprint, access records, and security events needed to operate the library.
What is not collected
Do not provide payment-card numbers, CVV codes, bank details, retailer passwords, email passwords, Social Security numbers, or full payment-account details. The portal does not need them.
Order references
When an optional retailer order reference is submitted, the ordinary database stores only the final four characters for display and a one-way keyed fingerprint for duplicate review. The complete reference is not retained as ordinary plaintext.
Security records
Source addresses and browser information are reduced to keyed fingerprints for rate limiting, fraud review, and account protection. Passwords are stored only as modern one-way password hashes. Authentication and reset tokens are stored only as hashes.
Your email is used for account verification, password recovery, resource notices, and direct support. Optional marketing permission is separate from operational account messages.
Administrative review
Bennett Edge Publishing administrators may review claims, restore or revoke access, correct catalog information, and investigate suspected unauthorized sharing. Administrative actions are recorded in an audit log.
