came first.

Before building HospiEdge, Shalom Bennett spent decades in hospitality, working across kitchen, service and general management. He understood the demands behind a schedule, the decisions at the host stand and the responsibility of bringing a shift to a successful close.

That experience shaped the product. A staffing decision affects service. Guest flow affects the floor. Operating standards affect the next shift. Financial review depends on the quality of the records created throughout the day.

HospiEdge grew from a practical question: how can software support the whole operation while respecting the different jobs within it?

Our answer is a connected platform with clear responsibilities. Each application serves its own work, while shared identity, permissions and defined exchanges keep the operation connected. The engineering follows the restaurant, not the other way around.

We founded Bennett Edge Group to put operating knowledge to work through software, engineering and publishing. These are different forms of the same purpose: give people something they can use.

HospiEdge expresses that knowledge through applications and connected workflows. Our engineering turns an operating idea into a working system. Our books and companion resources carry knowledge into reading, learning and teaching.

The work extends beyond a feature list. We design for the moment a person acts, the record that action creates and the person who depends on it next.
