Connected systems
Connect the work.
Keep the meaning.
We connect applications through explicit identity, permission and data contracts. Every handoff needs a clear source, an intended receiver and a defined outcome.
Identity and access
One person, with the right authority for the job.
Identity establishes who is acting. Organization and location establish where. A role describes responsibility, app access determines which application is available, and action-level permissions govern what that person may do.
We keep these checks distinct. A shared device must not give every employee the previous user's authority. Enabling one application must not expose another restaurant's records or grant access to unrelated management functions.
- 01Person
Establish the acting identity.
- 02Scope
Resolve the organization and location.
- 03Application
Check the relevant responsibility.
- 04Action
Enforce access to the protected operation.
Data ownership
A shared view starts with a trustworthy source.
Each application has records it owns. A receiving application can use approved information without becoming a second uncontrolled editor of the original.
For HospiEdge, that distinction matters when operating records reach Finance, audit findings become corrective work, or item information moves into a label workflow. We define the identifiers, scope and permitted changes at each boundary.
Corrections need a path too. The system must explain where information came from and how a later change reaches the view that depends on it.
The interrupted path
Design for more than the first successful request.
Repeated messages
Stable record and command identifiers help distinguish a retry from a new action.
Changing source records
Correction and reconciliation rules keep receiving views tied to the original work.
Overnight operations
Business dates and shift boundaries keep records grouped with the intended operating day.
Changing permissions
Access checks remain part of protected actions rather than a permanent assumption made at sign-in.
