The runtime host
The local computer provides the installed operating services and working records for its supported scope.
Hybrid architecture
Our hybrid engineering defines the work assigned to the local runtime, the authority held by hosted services, and the information exchanged when they connect.
Installed operating services
Working records
Supported local scope
Account context
Connected integrations
Approved exchanges
System boundaries
The local computer provides the installed operating services and working records for its supported scope.
Central services provide account context, connected integrations and the approved exchange of information.
A browser presents the working interface. Device access, employee identity and permission to perform an action remain separate responsibilities.
The return path needs stable record identities, ordering, acknowledgments and a way to reconcile differences.
Continuity
Loss of internet access, a stopped host and an unreachable local network are different failures. We define which operations depend on each connection rather than treating every function as equally available.
Define the operations that depend on the internet, the host or the local network. Local availability is not universal offline operation.
Reconnection is part of the workflow. It must distinguish an action that never arrived from one that succeeded before its response was lost. Repeating a request must not silently repeat the business action.
Use record identity and acknowledgment to distinguish a missing request from a lost response.
The same attention applies to backup, update and recovery. Installed services, working data and account authority need a consistent relationship before and after maintenance.
Working data, installed services and applicable authority must remain consistent after recovery.
Security and concurrency
A service used by multiple devices needs deliberate connection security, approved clients, employee authentication and controls for concurrent changes. Network reachability alone does not establish authority.
We address these responsibilities in the architecture and test the affected workflows, including stale screens, interrupted requests and changes made by more than one person.
